Create a presentation

What it does

The assistant writes an HTML slide deck on the Myra presentation template: one 1920×1080 slide per section, with page numbers in the footer. The deck appears as a file card in the reply and is previewed as a deck, one slide at a time. You can download it as PDF or PowerPoint, or open it as a presentation with Open in new tab. A PowerPoint file is made by converting the HTML deck.

The assistant builds HTML slide decks on the Myra presentation template also when you do not name it, but naming the template remains the most reliable way (the prompts below do). To get a deck that is previewed as a deck, ask for an "HTML slide deck" (German: "HTML-Präsentation"); the prompts below also name the template ("on the Myra presentation template", German: "mit der Myra-Präsentationsvorlage"). If you only ask for "a presentation" without saying HTML, the assistant usually produces a PowerPoint file instead. That is fine if a PowerPoint file is what you want. Write "HTML" if you want a deck that opens in the browser.

How to ask

Name the format (HTML slide deck) and, if you like, the template (the Myra presentation template), say how many slides you want, and give the content: in the prompt, or in a file you attach. Below are three prompts you can copy and adapt.

Deck from a briefing

Create an HTML slide deck on the Myra presentation template with 4 slides: a title slide "Team offsite 2026", then Agenda (strategy, budget, hiring), Budget (travel 12,000 EUR, venue 8,500 EUR) and a closing slide.

Tested on: qwen3.8-27b

Not recommended for: gemma-4-31b-it, mistral-small-4

Asks for four slides and spells out the title and the content of each.

Deck from notes typed into the prompt

Turn these notes into a short HTML slide deck on the Myra presentation template, with a title slide and one slide per point:
- Revenue grew 12 percent in Q3
- Two new customers in Austria
- We will hire three engineers by December

Tested on: qwen3.8-27b

Not recommended for: gemma-4-31b-it, mistral-small-4

Turns a list of points into a short deck with a title slide and one slide per point.

Deck from an attached file

Make an HTML slide deck on the Myra presentation template with exactly 3 slides from the attached notes: a title slide, the key figures, and the next steps.

Tested on: qwen3.8-27b

Not recommended for: gemma-4-31b-it, mistral-small-4

Attach a text file with your meeting notes first (the test used a file meeting-notes.txt), then send the prompt above. It builds exactly three slides from the file.

Each prompt was run on the three Myra-hosted models, ten runs each (measured on 22 October 2026). A deck counts as passed when it has the requested number of slides and the named content on them. Under each prompt you see the models it was tested on; the table shows how many of the ten runs passed:

Prompt Test case qwen3.8-27b gemma-4-31b-it mistral-small-4
Deck from a briefing 4 slides from a briefing in the prompt 9/10 0/10 0/10
Deck from notes typed into the prompt 4 slides from three notes typed into the prompt 10/10 0/10 0/10
Deck from an attached file 3 slides from an attached notes file 8/10 0/10 0/10

Tips

  • Say "HTML slide deck" in the same sentence as the topic. Naming the Myra presentation template as well is optional, but it is the most reliable way.
  • Give the number of slides and what goes on each one, or attach the notes. The more you give, the less the assistant has to invent.
  • To change the deck afterwards, ask for the change in the same conversation, as in Edit a presentation. The assistant changes only the affected slides.
  • To get a PowerPoint, PDF or Word file, use the Download menu on the deck's card, or ask "Make this HTML a PowerPoint".
  • To see the animations of the deck, use Open in new tab; the preview in the panel shows the slides without animations.
  • To present the deck, click Present below it: it opens in a new tab with keyboard navigation, a presenter view (press P: next slide, speaker notes, time since the presentation started) and full screen (press F). Ask the assistant to "add speaker notes" to have notes to show there.

Limits

  • Slide size is fixed: every slide is 1920×1080.
  • The deck preview in the panel runs none of the deck's scripts. It shows the slides as written, without animations or presentation mode. Open in new tab shows the deck as a presentation, with its animations and slide navigation, but without the presenter view and full screen; use Present for those (the slides then run without animations).
  • The preview has no network access: external stylesheets, web fonts, remote images and scripts from the internet do not load. Decks on the template are self-contained.
  • Each slide's footer shows its page number and the slide count. A deck with more than 99 slides shows no slide count, and no number from slide 100 on.
  • The layout check (is text cut off, is a slide empty) is not run in ghost mode (a private chat), and it is skipped when the check service is busy, the reply has little time left or the file is very large. Pictures that the file loads from the internet are not fetched for the check.
  • With qwen3.8-27b, a request that only says "HTML slide deck" (without the template) was built on the template, and passed the deck checks, in 60 of 60 test runs (measured on 29 October 2026; a deck usually arrives in about ten seconds). If a reply ends without a deck, ask again.
  • The prompts above were checked on Myra-hosted models with a small set of tasks. A reworded prompt, another model or a very long deck can behave differently, so check the result before you rely on it. On gemma-4-31b-it and mistral-small-4, creating decks did not work in our tests, and editing worked only for some requests (see Edit a presentation). Choose qwen3.8-27b for decks.

When something goes wrong

  • You got a PowerPoint file, or a plain HTML file that is not previewed as a deck. The request probably did not say "HTML slide deck" (a request for "a presentation" gives a PowerPoint file), or, rarely, the assistant wrote its own HTML file. Ask again for an HTML slide deck.
  • The card shows "Layout check: content is cut off". Text does not fit on a slide. Ask the assistant to rework that slide so that it fits, as in Edit a presentation.
  • The preview shows no animations. This is intended; use Open in new tab.
  • The reply says the deck is ready or the file was saved, but there is no file card. If the notice No file was created. appears with a Create it now button, use it; otherwise ask again.
  • The deck cannot be downloaded as PDF. A deck whose slides stay on top of each other, or that the page's layout keeps in one fixed window, cannot be converted to PDF; download it as PowerPoint, or ask for a version with the slides one below the other.
